Teething Advice

Image
Hello all I decided to make a post about the tips and tricks I do to console my baby bear. I already made a post about my  teething 7 month old  but I wanted to elaborate. 1. Massaging gums. Like I've said before I like doing these as natural as possible especially for my babies. I also like saving money. So I like freezing wash cloths and using them to massage my baby's gums or letting them chew on. We all have washcloths right? 2. Gnawing on knuckles! Yes this free and natural teether is perfect for our little munchers. I let my son chew on my knuckles for a few minutes. He bites pretty hard so I don't do it for long but he enjoys it. Wash your hands before of course and after. Keep them germs away! 3.Teething feeders! They look like pacifiers but they're not. They're super cool cause they allow your baby to enjoy fresh fruit and veggies without them choking and the plastic nipple part massages the gum. How they work is you place a pi

Teething 7 month old

My beautiful 7 month old angel baby is teething. My babies teeth early. Off and on since 3 or 4 months old. It's such an awful time watching them suffer. All the tears in their eyes...ugh. Well with my daughter I was learning how to deal with it. I was 23 and she was my first baby. I just took my mom's advice which was to give pain medicine (acetaminophen if they're under 6 months ibuprofen after that). And what the doctor recommended, which was frozen teethers. But that wasn't working well for her. When your child is teething they're not themselves. They cry until they're sobbing and inconsolable sometimes. They get runny noses sometimes they get stuffy. It's even possible when their teeth cut (term for when their teeth come through) they can become swollen or bleed a little. It's all normal. You may see them shake their head from side to side, get a mild fever, put their finger in their ears scratching which they may cut themselves accidenta

French Toast

I'm a very simple gal. I like making sandwiches for picnics, walks to the park with my babies and just staying home cooking. Sure I like getting all dressed up and going out to the movies or shopping. Maybe a concert here or there. But generally speaking I enjoy the simple things in life. Like writing I love writing! Writing has always been for me. Music. Another great therapy. Listening to some great music that I thoroughly enjoy and that's resonates with me. Baking and cooking are also really great. I like trying new things. New foods, new recipes broadening my horizons one step at a time. It may sound silly but slowly that adds flavor to your life. So today I made some french toast. I love french toast! Ever since having my son 7 months ago and having some a the hospital i'm in love. It was my first real meal since they gave me dinner very later after I had him I just had whatever he hospital had left. But the breakfast for the next day I got to choose. Now I've

Technology

Image
Technology is so amazing. Like it's really amazing. We can do so much with it it's so useful and helpful. Think about it. Like every day we use it whether it be Internet or our phones. Our Tv's are even cooler. Like we can use them as computer screens, make calls with them.  And it's only going to get better. Which seems so crazy cause like what else will we be able to do? We got 3D printers and smart cars. I means cars that literally drive themselves are happening. So why am I talking about this? Well yesterday evening my family and I were able to speak and meet family via video. We haven't been able to see because they live in Nicaragua. We hope to some day go and visit but it's difficult because of money, fear of flight (mostly just by me) and now with all the Civil war going on it wouldn't be the greatest time. But hopefully soon peace will ascend. God heals all. It was just a great experience to know that we could meet extended family or those we

I'll talk about that some other time. So this year I said enough is enough! I'm not going to just let my life pass me by anymore. I'm not going to let depression get me down. No! I'm taking control of my life. This year is going to be my year. I am opening up a leggings boutique Covet Legs , I've started this blog and I also have a novelty shop  Novelty Steals . I have a few more projects that will hopefully also come to life this year. The boutique has been a dream of mines for years. I've always wanted to design and create clothing and I constantly get compliment
